Background

      The Commission for the Management of Land Traffic (OCMLT) Meeting No.1/2019 on January 3, 2019 have considered the feasibility study of Brown Line Project (Khea Rai – Lam Sali (Bueng Kum) Section) which was proceeded by The Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning (OTP) and had a meeting resolution to assign the OTP to add Brown Line Project into Mass Rapid Transit Master Plan for Bangkok Metropolitan Region Phase 1: M-Map 1

CharacteristIcs

 Alignment

        The Brown Line Project alignment starts at Khae Rai intersection. The route will head along to Ngam Wong Wan road, passing Phong Phet Intersection, Bang Khen intersection, and continuing along to Prasert - Manukitch road, passing Lad Plakhao intersection, Sena Nikhom intersection, Sukhonthasawat intersection, Sri Rat Interchange, Nuan Chan intersection, Nawamin intersection, PHO kaeo intersection, Happyland intersection, and ends on Suan Son intersection. It is the interconnecting with the other 7 lines of Rail Transit System, there are MRT Purple Line, MRT Pink Line (Khae Rai), SRT Red Line (Bang Khen), Green Line (Kaset), MRT Grey Line (Sri Rat Interchange), MRT Orange Line, and MRT Yellow Line (Lam Sali)
